Surface erosion of public bridleway

Note that Cawborough Bridleway extends from the Slade to Pooles lane. Houses were built on heathland and did not have vehicle accesses. Erosion has worn away the surface and it is not fit for purpose, i.e. pedestrians and cyclists. Surface potholed and very uneven. No drain and inadequate lighting, County Council has not maintained surface for decades despite a legal requirement to do so at public expense. Utilities need to level their inspection grids. Bridleway sign is missing at junction of Pooles Lane. Lateral drain not safe and rarely clear.. (near Pooles Lane) Surface in front of school disgraceful and needs urgent attention for safety and looks. W.O.D.C. have let vehicles use and park caUSING EROSION AND SHOULD PROVIDE FUNDS. PLANNING APPLICATION FOR A PRIVATE CAR PARK IS APPARENTLY ILLEGAL AS IT SENDS VEHICLES OVER AND ALONG BRIDLEWAY... Work should start as promised when fibre cable is finished. Minor repairs are inadequate as over 6inches has been eroded. Emergency vehicles find track very difficult as do disabled people. A major decision needs to be taken about Crawborough due to historical development and lack of infrastructure. Issue been present for many years.
