Sent to Enfield Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2652851.
TfL have contributed millions to construct the cycleways along Green Lanes. They have also spent thousands on the construction of a new cycle crossing of the North Circular to link Palmerston Crescent with Palmerston Road. However, there is a missing link between the the cycle lanes and the North Circular crossing. The present state of Palmerston Crescent makes it extremely unpleasant and sometimes very dangerous to cycle along. It is full of ruts and potholes. At its best, it shakes cyclists to pieces. At its worst, it risks a serious fall. This part of the route is the only part that is the responsibility of Enfield Council. It is shameful that the council does not make its contribution to the the construction of a safe cycling route towards central London.
