Broken right of way footpath sign (rotted at base)

Reported via desktop by Colin Carr at 12:19, Sat 3 April 2021

Sent to Leicestershire County Council and North West Leicestershire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2650577.

There is a right of way footpath sign on the border of our land (the right of way itelf cuts through our two paddocks and is gated at both ends).

But the sign has rotted at its base and fell down on our fencing which in turn damaged one of our gates.

I have made a repair to that but the public right of way sign is now just lying nearby on the ground.

It needs to be re installed into the ground close to but not attached to our gate.

Also, further back towards Blackfordby a short way, the steps up to the woodland, where the right of way goes, are starting to fall apart.
