This area of bogs lane and Kingsley road is very dangerous for pedestrians. There is no walkway at all. The road curves around over a hill / railway bridge so oncoming traffic cannot see people walking on the road until it’s too late and then they swerve into the other lane, I have seen very many near misses on this stretch of road and we locals have been asking for years for a pathway. There is room for a lovely path to be constructed, it is overgrown with shrubbery and weeds and broken fences from the top of the Bog. I would urge anyone to come and see for themselves how dangerous this toad is! Currently it’s a rat run for people avoiding the delay at the train lines on Starbeck high street, plus there are many building works going on with the 2 new housing estates being built at once. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
