Dog fouling next to play area
Reported via desktop in the Dog Fouling category anonymously at 13:21, Sat 27 March 2021
Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2636968.
The green space adjoining Rowley's Road play area is being used as a dog toilet. Today, there are upwards of ten deposits of faeces, just left there, when they could be picked up and placed in a nearby bin. The No Dog Fouling sign on the post appears to have gone. People already let their dogs foul on the meads where people walk which is bad enough but it shouldn't be permitted on council maintained land. Please can we have CCTV to catch the offenders.
Updates
-
The grass appears to have been mown and much of the dog faeces removed. There are however, one or two new deposits, also one next to the railings by the younger children's play area, so we await more signage and hopefully CCTV in order to bring an end to this disgusting and anti-social behaviour.

Dog fouling still happening but seems to be being cleared by the park warden fairly regularly. No signage as yet but maybe this will need to be requested separately. As regards CCTV., I will request this separately if the problem continues.
