1m wide, 2m long pothole with exposed drain cover with sharp edges, expose in OCC Woodcote Library Car Park.

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

As above, this 2m by 1m pothole with exposed drain cover is in the centre of the car park by School House and OCC Library. The pothole is getting larger and larger, has been present for over two years. A danger to both pedestrians and vehicles as in winter can be covered in leaves and sharp edges of drain exposed to vehicle tyres. The problem is exacerbated as drain overflows during periods of heavy rainfall and area floods and freezes during the winter months.

  • South Oxfordshire District Council have emailed a response stating they do not have responsibility for this location. They say I should contact Oxford County Council as they have responsibilty to the library and the Primary School and car parking connected to this site. Any response please OCC?

  • This is still an outstanding matter. Councillors Bearder, Brighouse, Bulmer and Miller have all been made aware. And yet still nothing has been done. A really disappointing service from OCC.
