Rubbish strewn across pavement

Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 09:28, Mon 22 March 2021

Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2624991.

The bin was full. Wildlife have accessed the bin and strewn the rubbish across pavement. This happens often at this location and many others across the sea front. Unsure as to why it is so complicated for the council to replace this bin with a larger, wildlife-proof bin.

  • As of today 19/04/21 there is still rubbish strewn across the pavement. It is practically a daily occurrence here. Larger, wildlife proof bins are urgently needed.

  • Another day, another overflowing bin that has been accessed by wildlife. Rubbish strewn across pavement. Larger, wildlife proof bins needed here. More frequent public bin collection would also be useful.
