Dog Fouling

Reported in the Dog fouling category by Ken Wood at 12:46, Wed 4 July 2012

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 3 minutes later

Front gardens of 2, 4 and 6 are repeatedly fouled on. A dog walker early in the morning or late at night suspected. One owner with King Charles spaniel caught by owners 6 months ago - at 11-15pm - waking down the Grove onto appleford drive - dog 25m ahead off the lead goes into front gardens and fouls. Problem now back over past 8 weeks. We will be out trying to get photo evidence. We will want to press the £1000 fine. Two home owners are also dog owners and sickened by this irresponsiblity.

Updates

  • We keep finding fouled mess on our front gardens. At 3am our neighbour saw a cat doing its business on our lawns. I have spent £30 on a infrared triffered sonic deterrent. I will see if this works. The problem is our pet dog does not like coming home now as he can hear the terrible noise it makes - also some teenagers can hear it.

  • We are still having problems with dog fowling in Appleford Drive. How can we stop this person. We are fed up of it ? The dog owner allows the dog to go on private paths and gardens. It looks as if all residents of Appleford Drive are having the same issues.

  • I and other neighbours are fed up of some person who is allowing their dog to fowl on front gardens and paths. I have not yet got evidence of who it is but will try and get photo evidence as soon as possible. This is a continual problem.I think a fine should be up held when the person/dog is identified.
