Rusty and corroding railings at tourist point need replacing due lack of maintenance for years

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:36, Sat 20 March 2021

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2622475.

These rusty railings have not received any maintenance for years and are now in need of replacement as they are heavily corroded and an eyesore at this tourist gathering point and viewing site with seating. It is also right opposite the Royal Torbay Yacht Club creating a very bad impression of Torquay's lack of maintenance.

Updates

  • It is such a poor reflection on our local community when a tourist viewing area appears completely neglected over a long period of time - more than 2 years. It highlights that the Council is not in control of maintenance and that costs tax payers much .more in replacements.
