  • This vehicles MOT expired on 16th March 2021. It also hasn't moved for 6 months. Legally a vehicle cannot be parked on the highway without tax, insurance and an MOT. As it has no MOT, and is well expired, it should be recovered/removed from the highway. It is an eyesore and needs to be removed.

  • Still there! Can someone please explain why this vehicle is allowed to park on a road without an MOT. It expired 2 months ago? And hasn't moved for 6 months. The guidance is clear - If a vehicle doesn't have a current MOT certificate, you can only drive it to or from a pre-arranged MOT appointment or to or from a pre-arranged repair appointment to have defects remedied that were discovered on a previous test. ... You will commit an offence if you park a vehicle without an MOT on the road.

  • No response to my comments. Are the police or council doing anything about vehicles illegally parked on a highway/carriageway without an MOT? Even if insured, any vehicle must pocesss a valid MOT for insurance to be valid. Please remove the abandoned vehicle and or inform the owner to remove it from the highway.

  • Still parked up. If the council or Police are not going to remove this vehicle. Can you please let residents know what other roads in Abingdon cars with no MOT can be dumped on please. Assuming this car has an owner. They have had ample free illegal parking and enough time to sort it out.
