Opportunity to fix pinch points

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Adam Funk at 10:04, Thu 28 June 2012

Sent to Sheffield City Council less than a minute later

Because of the work currently being carried out on Fraser Road, a number of the humps forming chicanes on the road have been temporarily flattened. Please take this opportunity to support cyclists' safety by NOT reinstating the old traffic-calming measures.

Motorists' awareness of Highway Code rules 163 and 167 is poor, and the pinch points endanger cyclists. The chicanes should be replaced with traffic-calming measures that do not cause such conflict.
