Speeding cars

Reported via desktop in the Other (non-highways) category by Andrew Tiller at 22:23, Sat 13 March 2021

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Havant Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2606731.

Hi, I have now counted 7 out of 10 cars that drive down Highfield AVE are speeding! Since the introduction of double lines I can welcome you our very own chicane. We are days away from a collision. It is making our lives uncomfortable. Andy

Updates

  • The cars have not stopped speeding down Highfield avenue. no action has been taken. Also I have noticed even the buses have speeded up.

  • This is not fixable. as the council say its nothing to do with them, even though they put the double yellow lines there, they say contact the police and when i did they say there is no reported crimes of speeding in Highfield avenue so they don't care either. BTW you cant also go bask to them as it is a non respond email address. so i have to just suffer cars and even busses steaming down the road
