Side of ditch collapsed

Reported via mobile by Victoria Glover-Ward at 16:16, Sat 13 March 2021

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2606218.

The side of the ditch collapsed around six months ago. It was reported to Hertfordshire County Council via their website. Apart from the recent addition of some cones no remedial work has been undertaken. The bank, behind the concrete, is eroding and every heavy rainfall makes it worse.

Updates

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 16:58, Sat 10 April 2021

  • Been like this for over a year. This is a flood risk zone (relating to heavy rainfall) so having the side of the main ditch caved in is really not acceptable

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Still not done. Heavy rain is eroding the bank behind the kerb that was installed making it more difficult to fix
