Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2584485.
The parking at the bottom of the road in the turning circle has now got so bad anyone else is unable to turn including tenants of Shute Avenue and delivery drivers etc . There is growing concern that emergency service vehicles would not be able to access certain properties in this road. The parking inconsiderate to others who need to turn as it is difficult to reverse up the road as so narrow. This problem has steadily been getting worse I’ve the last couple of years but is particularly bad now Thank you

Thank you for your report. The installation of formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a ‘Traffic Regulation Order’ which in involves a long and expensive legal process including full consultation, I regret that Oxfordshire County Council could not fund such a scheme at this time.
It should be noted that if a vehicle is parked in either a dangerous position or in such a position as to cause an obstruction these are offences under Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, this legislation is enforced by Thames Valley Police.
State changed to: Investigation complete
