Speeding vehicles all categories

Sent to Runnymede Borough Council and Surrey County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2582261.

The speed in "Lunatic Lane" is atrocious. Private cars, council vehicles, vans, lorries and e-scooters. I estimate the average speed between 0700 and 0900 hrs 40 to 50 mph and the same for 1500hrs to 1600hrs the same. Now that the e-scooters are racing up and down there is going to be some serious accidents in the not too distant future.

  • Nearly ran into e-scooter this AM. Turning right into Garfield Road from Crockford Park Road an idiot on an scooter did not stop to let me turn but continued straight on from Crockford Park Road. Fortunately although it was quite gloomy I caught sight of this moron as he did not have any illumination of any kind, he was lucky this time.
