Lazy drivers damaging large public grass area

The occasional lazy driver uses this car-width-wide gap through this part of St. Martins Way neighborhood rather than keep the wheels on the road, which goes around easily.

Public grass is consistently being damaged, like its a dirt track all along.

Some stone posts (like others nearby) would be welcomed to stop lazy traffic. Sometimes they even park there, despite plenty of parking space daily nearby!
