Oil type residue spill on the surface of soil

In various places around the pond areas and between the visitors center and towards the pond there appears to be an environmental issue of an oil type residue on the surface of the mud water pools. Not sure if this is environmental spill or issue that is leaking oil type substance into the area from somewhere.

  • I know the HBBC council were going to look into it as they phoned me. However they didn't give me any further update and I have not revisited the spot.
