Drain cover loose/VERY Noisy for over 3 months now!

Sent to Kent County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2561366.

I have reported this several times since October 2020 when this section of London Road (A20) was dug up for gas mains repairs. The drain covers are loose and every time a vehicle goes over it the noise is very noticeable (all day and all night) anydhas become extremely annoying and frustrating as its 5 meters away, RIGHT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE (95 London Road). A highways operative came out in November to look at it (I spoke to him and he marked up the cover with a spray) and that's the last thing to happen - almost 3 months ago now! PLEASE get these covered properly re-bedded as a matter of my sanity. Thank you.

  • Council employee called me last week to say an investigator needs to visit and assess it. Why didnt they do this 5 months ago!!!! Still dragging on and noise is getting worse! Not impressed at all.
