Badly positioned road marking on north circular road

Reported in the Road or pavement defect category anonymously at 10:53, Fri 8 June 2012 ; (there is no pin shown as the user did not use the map)

Sent to Enfield 2 minutes later

At Clockhouse Junction of N.C.Road- Eastbound. The White Painted Road Arrow (indicating to vehicles to "MOVE RIGHT") is so badly positioned, and too small, that it causes confusion & noise from hooters as fast moving cars on inside lane realise too late that the road reduces from 3 lanes down to 2 at this point.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 08:53, Sat 7 July 2012

  • This road lay-out is still causing problems for drivers jostling for the correct road positions as the road reduces to 2 lanes. Constant hooting, horn blowing and there have been at least 3 accidents this year in the area near to bus stop P whereas there had been none for many years previously. The passenger/s in the accident at Bus Stop P this year, had to be cut out of their car by fire crews.
