This issue is not resolved in fact it is getting worse especially by adding extra bins

These bins are constantly overflowing. People are very disrespectful to the neighbourhood and they do not respect the use of these bins. As you can see some people leave food waste next to them which is not the purpose of the bins. This problem has been reported several times and the council failed to resolve it by removing the bins or moving them away from the street. Instead, the council added two new bins to make the matter ten folds worse. I cannot just keep taking photos of the bins and begging the council to remove them. In fact the council is in breach of their own rules regarding litter by leaving these bins there and indirectly causing litter on the street and in the neighbourhood. The situation is hazardous and creating local nuisance. Foxes hang around in the car park in the evening and go through some of this rubbish. We have children around and these bins are affecting us all. Just half an hour ago a car which I have a registration number for dumped all its rubbish and simply drove off. Is this the civilised scene the council would like to see and hear about. This is mainly the council’s fault and it is the council responsibility to resolve this issue as a matter of urgency. There is plenty of other hidden places where the council can move these bins to. I do not think anyone on the council will be happy if they had the same problem in their neighbourhood. If the council does not move these bins away from the street or removes them at all then my neighbours and I will be considering legal action.
Thank you

These two photos were taken less than 24 hours of submitting my report yesterday. Can you see how awful the situation is and how much rubbish was dumped on less than 24 hours. Is this civilisation in your opinion?! The council is affecting everyone on this street by negligently putting these bins around. As I mentioned yesterday if these bins are not removed the resident will be seeking legal action and the council will be responsible for that.

This issue has not been resolved at all. The bins are still absolutely overflowing and I am not sure how you can say the issue is resolved. The bins so y need to be removed. Clearly this is the wrong place for them and people are simply not respecting the use of these bins or the neighbourhood and hence this is causing nuisance to the residents of Station Road. As I said before this is the council’s responsibility and the council by leaving these bins where they are and allowing them to be overflowing constantly like this, is in fact in breach of its own rules and contributing to this situation.

Despite that the rubbish in the photos has been collected. We still have the same problem of rubbish piling in front of these bins. The truck this morning came to empty the bins which was great. However, because there is rubbish stuck in the opening of the bins, which the truck did not remove, people still thought they were full as they couldn’t put their recycling in and therefore left it in front of the bins. I simply can’t always go to the bins to push the rubbish in. This is not my responsibility. At least the council should draw the truck driver attention to that although he saw the rubbish hanging out but did not do anything about it. I have a video ! Plus he opens the bottom of the bin to empty it and all the small rubbish flies on the ground because of the wind and again the truck driver just leaves it!
