Obstructive parking near road entrance, very dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 15:02, Fri 19 February 2021

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2557654.

The issue of vehicles parked along the corner of the road before the entrance of Parkland View, is obstructive for any vehicles attempting to pull out of Parkland View as completely blind to any approaching traffic, and is very likely to cause an accident. There is already an issue of speeding vehicles along Henshaw Lane which increases the risk factor. There is a yellow line for part of this, but it needs to be double yellow or Keep Clear road markings and stretched further along.

Updates

  • Vehicles continue to obstruct traffic from approaching upwards of Henshaw Lane towards Parkland View. The yellow lines need extending and "Keep Clear" markings on the road adding. Far too many near miss accidents occuring on a weekly basis.
