Road Surface Deteriorating

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2537875.

From the junction Sandy Lane - 100m along Lakeside Gardens the road surface has deteriorated over the years so much so that the subsurface is now showing through in may areas with some holes being 5-10cm deep. With each passing storm and the increased size of delivery trucks the road is getting worse and could cause cyclists to be thrown of their bicycles.

  • Apparently the road was inspected, on the day they state it was a vehicle from Hampshire Council was seen to drive part way down the road but at no point did an individual exit the vehicle or even stop apart from to do a U turn.
