Street gritting Grit bin needed Marsh Road.

Reported via Android anonymously at 11:34, Tue 9 February 2021

Sent to Charnwood Borough Council and Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2535524.

During this bad weather and snow, cars and vans have been struggling to get up and down the hill and I am unable to go to work as the road isn't gritted and I do not feel safe driving. Marsh Road is a busy cut through on a steep hill which hasn't been gritted. I have also slipped and fallen on the path and hurt my arm, I have to go out to walk the dog and the pavements are really bad when its icy. There needs to be a grit bin on the street so that we can make it safe for the residents to walk up and down the hill and for the cars to be able to get out. Marsh Road runs down to a busy street - Leicester road - and if it's icy there is no stopping at the bottom of the hill which could cause accidents.
