Public path STILL blocked! (Ludham FP 3)

Reported via desktop in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 19:40, Sunday 7 February 2021

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later

Reporting further to report/ 1092646. Path STILL blocked, unusable. The Norfolk County Council has known about this situation since at least 2003 (letter from Countryside Access Officer dated 1st May 2003 (NCC ref: E.10/L12/SJP)). That's over SEVENTEEN years ago! NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL, the deadline that you gave to the relevant landowners to apply for a diversion expired nearly two years ago (end of March 2019) and so we can only assume that it is no longer your intention to exercise discretionary powers to divert the path. You are the highway authority, and the only alternative available to you in law is to enforce the legal route, so that people can use and enjoy it. Continuing to do neither, is not an option that is legally open to you.
