Dangerous road crossing Speeding vehicles

Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:21, Sun 7 February 2021

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2529423.

Footpath very narrow and pedestrians forced to cross road on blind bend. Also Pedestrians have to go on road to pass each other from the bend all the way to station and the bend prevents seeing or being seen. Road side indicators show many cars and heavy goods lorries exceeding limit on Linton Road from both directions

Updates

  • The marker is in the wrong place. The problem is on LintonRoad where the road crosses the railway and it is a blind bend from either approach. Pedestrians are forced to cross the the road at this point because the footpath runs out on both sides. It is NOT in the estate on Sicklinghall Road
