I have received information from the NFDC that the problem is not a priority. I saw the highways inspector stop as I was in the garden. Firstly he didn’t look at the reported puddle as I was close by and wanted to explain. Secondly he reported the puddle being in Yelverton Road, it is in Butts Ash Lane. If he had seen the problem he would have noticed that the standing water has now eroded the tarmac on the pathway. Therefore the problem has not in my opinion been viewed properly if at all and more importantly rectified and is a hazard. I will not hesitate to take NFDC to task if someone injures themselves as it is now their responsibility. Why doesn’t the appropriate persons just ask, if not why bother giving my details.

The state of the pathway is starting to crumble away with the water damage.
