Overhanging shrubs and tress branches obstructing safe passage

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 08:24, Thu 4 February 2021

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2523443.

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ISSUE The above are obstructing safe passage along the pavement opposite Bramhope. The overhanging growth of a variety of shrubs, vines and tree branches along this stretch (the only pavement) are forcing pedestrians to walk onto the road; which could lead to being struck by vehicles or, being responsible for vehicle collision whilst avoiding pedestrians on the road!

  • Furthermore, many vehicles exceed the speed limit through this stretch of Lower Warberry Road. It’s only a matter of time where a RTA fatality will happen; if so, this report will more than likely be referenced/reviewed by the victims.
