Heavy traffic causing drain to be punched below road surface. Impossible to avoid especially as road is very narrow here (opposite 60 St Ternans Rd) Several other drains also damaged in this area (since buses started using this route???????)

Updates

  • Surface breakdown is now worse (of course) and as road is so narrow the hazard is unavoidable when oncoming traffic about. MANY of the drain covers are now in the same state. Opposite Nr 70 is like a chasm with another one directly opposite. What are your plans?????????

  • As this road is the main thoroughfare to the primary school it is deplorable that it is allowed to deteriorate like this. Dozens of kids ride bikes to and from school - only a matter of time before one goes base-over-apex by hitting one of these holes - it's only to be hoped there are no cars coming when he/she does.

  • No progress yet again. Now that we've got buses on this road again the problem is going to get a lot worse.

  • Damage has been competely ignored. Getting worse by the day. Might as well make the whole road a one-way system so we can avoid oncoming traffic and potential broken suspension.

  • Despite two drains being directly opposite each other - leaving room for only one vehicle at a time each way they don't regard it as worthy of repair. Wonder if the streets in their neighbourhood are as bad as this?
