Standing Water on Shared-use Path

After periods of heavy rainfall which leave the surrounding fields saturated, the shared-use path in Paul's Land between Magyar Crescent heading up to the railway bridge becomes waterlogged. This is a key route to and from the nearby school and in this situation, it is not possible to pass without wading through the muddy verges or walking through the water - a significant problem if people are caught unawares and do not have appropriate footwear.
Drainage in the area needs to improve to solve this problem, or the path itself needs to be raised up on to a bank in order to ensure that water runs off and that it is kept clear for use in all weathers.
Note there is an outstanding issue logged with this path relating both to deteriorating tarmac and congestion at busy times (reported September 2020). It would seem to make sense to deal with all issues simultaneously. The older report is with NBBC Parks (GM280176657) despite there having being a dispute of responsibility with WCC.
