Drain cover very deep causes pothole effect

The drain cover on the left hand edge of the road by the 30mph sign entering Cold Overton from the Somerby direction is very deeply recessed. This causes a pothole effect that can damage vehicles. (I believe it was reported as a pothole in Jan 2019 but nothing done about it). The road is extremely narrow here and many drivers use their local knowlege to pull out to avoid the drain cover. This places them in the opposite carriageway and at risk of collision with cars coming out of the village in the opposite direction rfrom round the bend. I consider the risk of serious accident is high.
