Pavement width severley restricted

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:04, Sun 24 January 2021

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2498436.

All along Loughborough Road from the junction with Nottingham Road near Prestwold all the way nearly to Cotes Bridge. Overgrown hedging but more importantly there is like a "grass verge" at the bottom of the hedge which severley restricts the pavement width and in some places the pavement is non existent; you have to walk on the road, near the turn off for Burton Bandalls.

  • I'd reiterate the same concern. The path at the side of the road is covered with overgrown grass and mud. This needs attention to reinstate some safe and level surfaced walking space.
