Still not fixed and the area in much busier here than ever because of massive levels of diverted traffic as a result of tram works on leith walk and the heavy construction vehicles as a result of the huge number of new housing developments in the area. It is becoming overdeveloped and worryingly, Planning do not appear to understand the effects of these developments on traffic levels and increased pedestrian activity and are not measuring the impact. The‘space for people’ project has failed to look at any park of this street despite the huge levels of diverted traffic.
