Drug use, violence and grafitti

This is a local drug user area, on a bi-hourly basis between 12pm-6am we see a train of drug use, extreme delirium, mass vandalism and hostility. This is one example of the blatant vandalism that is rife, in an area that contains many small, local, thriving businesses. It is extremely harmful to my business but, more importantly, I am a small local business serving a heavily residential area. Every day I see this level of degradation and social depravity, and it is entirely indicative of the state of social life here in this area. The building in the photo was a building that was meant to be used to help in he rehabilitation process here in Cardiff.
The truth is, it has incorporated the routines of drug trade and anti-social behaviour as easily as any place that was ever made for it. I wish only to see my local fellows and myself grow in community spirit and ethos so I hope this message will not land on dear ears. It’s not just graffiti - it is the barely legible mark someone leaves when they feel so desolate and broken they feel destruction is the only path. And as sad a reality as that is, I do not want that to be the reality to be the one that exists out my shop door. The same shop door that consistently tends to the bike needs of local children and tenants.
