Reported in the Bus stops category anonymously at 08:33, Sun 29 April 2012

Sent to Somerset County Council 2 minutes later

This near derelict bus shelter's advert panel is now hanging loose and opening in the wind. The other one fell off some weeks ago.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 13:11, Sun 27 May 2012

  • The council? has taped the advert windows up, although not very well. Most of the Primesite supplied shelters in Yeovil are in a poor state of repair. Averts are still being fitted on the ones that have advert panels although the transparent plastic is far from transparent and due to the broken catches often fall out. Basically no one seems to care. Other parts of the country appear to have shelters to maintained to a much higher standard of presentation.

  • Now in a worse state, graffiti has since been added, SSDC is aware.

  • The advert panels have been replaced with new ones w/e 11/8/12 and the offensive graffiti removed, SCC only appear to remove offensive graffiti. Other shelters around the town are receiving new panels where fitted
