Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2461267.
The tree outside our house has grown too tall to be safe. The tree further up our road has already been shortened.

This tree is in an inspection programme and is routinely inspected every 2-3 years where it's condition is assessed. If any essential works are identified they are included in the tree works programme.
Trees are not necessarily dangerous just because they're big or tall or because they are situated within falling distance of buildings and roads. Trees in general do not collapse because of their height alone. It is usually because the trees are dead or dying or have a root or basal issue that is liable to pre-dispose the tree to fail. Hence the council regularly inspects it's tree stock for any significant defects.
