Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 383056.
On 23rd December, Holland Road drains were blocked and the pump wasn’t working. Fire Brigade called to House flooding. The Fire Brigade had to send the water along Halmer Gate, due to excessive water it was entering our driveway and gardens as the drain outside our drive was also blocked as were most of the drains along the frontage. My husband went out to talk to the fire service, John Kinder, Water Manager , Holbeach C 15P1, explained there was sewerage contamination in the water being pumped on our premises. It was after 1 am that my husband returned home and still no let up. John Kinder came to our premises to see the issues and was asked to divert the water which he explained wasn’t possible.

The drain outside my drive is blocked solid and will overflow very soon as will the surrounding drains along Halmer Gate. This is a serious problem that needs addressing very soon to avoid further flooding.
