Flooding, debris and potholes

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 08:38, Sun 3 January 2021

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2458261.

This is an on going problem for Downfield Road from the farm to the bottom of the road. Outside last three properties debris flooding and potholes then carry on down road edge of road now wearing away causing constant water to be present and potholes. We are now well into winter and this road has become dangerous! When it freezes the road becomes a death trap, skidding on ice and mud it really is disgusting. Reported so many times and sadly nothing has been done.

  • This problem has not been fixed and the reply from Highways was that they couldn’t find the problem! To which I replied that they were either blind or incompetent!
