The westbound road surface is now in a very poor condition. High risk of an incident occurring when the road floods due to the hike filling with water. This is especially so if a motorcyclist hits it.
This needs to be investigated as a matter of urgency.

Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.
He has been out to the location and has arranged for a team to jet the pipe that links from the kerb drains to the outfall.
The surface defect was being monitored but due to the cold weather has deteriorated more quickly than expected. A temporary repair has been requested and a permanent repair is due to be carried out before the end of January.
Although we always aim to complete the repairs as planned, the date may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
We hope this helps with your enquiry. If you require any further information please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or email@example.com
Kind regards Highways England
