Constant dog mess left by irresponsible owners on pavements
Reported via mobile in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 17:41, Tue 15 December 2020
Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2433581.
Chinnor is having a serious problem with dog owners not cleaning up their dogs poo. It’s getting so bad people are constantly treading in it and this includes kids on the way to school. It’s illegal but there are no consequences for it and the situation is just getting worse round here and is now so bad many people are afraid to step Foot outside for fear of accidentally treading in it. The counsel needs to do something about the situation as it is not fair on local residents we pay our counsel tax and should be able to walk on clean pavements.

This is an ongoing issue where irresponsible dog owners do nothing clear up after their dogs. It makes walking down the Oakley Road, the High Street and various other roads in the area treacherous to say the least. Kids tread in it, adults tread in it and even accidentally run wheels of prams and pushchairs over it where they can’t see it especially if it’s dark. The council need to enforce the fines and make this something that is seen to be enforced or it will not change. They should also come and clean the pavements and remove the mess that is already there.
