  • Maybe the previous report is stuck somewhere. Reported to LCC again: reference FS465399292.

  • A few weeks ago some maintenance guys in a transit van came and looked at the site. But then they went away without doing anything.

So still not fixed. This update in response to a question from the fix-my-street robot.

  • Still not fixed. This update in response to a message from the FixMyStreet robot.

But recently I received an email from hms@leics.gov.uk saying that it would be fixed in the next 10 days to 3 months, depending on complexity.

  • 10 days has passed. But no sign of any attempt to fix. Also it seems that the lamps illuminating all five of the pole-mounted height warning signs near the bridge are not working (three on the west side and two on the east side). See attached photos.

  • Towards the end of June 2023, I received an email from Leics CC saying that the issue has been fixed. But it hasn't. This has been reported using the complaint form on the council website. I received an email from a Leics CC person describing the difficulty in fixing the lamps on the bridge due to their height and location over a main road, and describing some proposed next steps to fix. [Of course these challenges don't apply to the non-working lamps on the pole-mounted signs on either side of the bridge]

  • The lamps on the five pole-mounted height warning signs on each side of the bridge are now working. (Maybe they were never connected before?) One of them failed again soon afterwards. This was reported and the fault fixed again. This evening I just checked again and they are still working.

But no progress on the illuminated signs on the bridge itself ... maybe this case has been put in someone's "too difficult" tray?
