New 'pond' development a dumping ground

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 22:58, Sun 6 December 2020

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2420389.

The new pond development which was supposed to be nice, attract wildlife and have a path for walking etc is nothing of the sort. Residents who directly overlook the site are now greeted every day with a boggy marsh, no wildlife and loads of rubbish and fly tipping. A far cry from what was planned and a lot worse than the lush green embankment that used to be there. Residents were not informed nor given any chance to protest or raise concerns. We were also not informed of what it was going to be. I only know from numerous emails with the site manager. The fencing went up in Oct 2018 and work started early 2019. There have been no further developments this year (understandable due to Covid) however it seems courtesy to inform the residents if and when this will be finished and what is being done about this eyesore!
