Failed road sweeper

Having, after years of complaint, had the road surface and drainage fixed on the hill into Steeple Aston, the road sweeper that passed through the village recently, missed all this debris. The accumulation of this debris led to the narrowing of this bend over time and the blocking of this drainage. This area needs to be kept clear for the safety of road users and the prevention of unnecessary works in the future.

  • Not repaired. Leaves are now directing water away from the drain, so there is now the added danger of ice building up in this bend too
