Illegal parking blocking a public footpath - Danger of Death

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 19:46, Mon 30 November 2020

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2412383.

Once again multiple vehicles blocking the footpath. There was barely enough room to squeeze down the side of the vehicle to walk on the footpath as I’m entitled too. I witnessed a lady with a double width pushchair having to use the roadway to go around the vehicles thus putting herself and children at risk. There is a real danger of death forcing people on to a footpath for the sake of illegally parked vehicles. This needs fixing immediately. Police action needs taking or unfortunately this could lead to a serious injury or death.

  • Not fixed, cars still totally illegally blocking the footpath and no action being taken. Absolutely scandalous !

  • Still exactly the same issue, COVID continually blamed.

  • Not fixed at all, the ‘grass’ verge has now in surprisingly become a mud bath. Maybe it takes a car to put mud on the road and an accident to occur before it gets fixed. Needs bollards installing, offenders fined and ordered to pay clean up costs.

  • The area is getting worse and is now not just not frequented by tenants but by delivery vehicles for the KFC.

  • Getting worse still, absolutely destroyed the grass verge and is incredibly dangerous
