Speed limit 50 sign demolished

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 20:25, Sun 29 November 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2410698.

Looks like a vehicle has collided with this speed limit sign, which lies now horizontal on the verge complete with uprooted concrete foundation base.

Updates

  • Sorry - wrong title and description - this is actually the GIVE WAY sign that has been knocked down, not the 50 mph sign on the same road which I had previously reported and has been fixed.

  • Not yet fixed - Give Way sign still down. This 5-ways junction is known as dangerous, and has been upgraded to a speed-limited area with in the past couple of years. A busy main road meets three other roads at this point. It is vital that the Measham Road traffic gives way to the fast main road, and at present the sign is not visible and the approach is hidden by a hedge.
