Loose, clanking manhole cover

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2410479.

The manhole/drain cover outside 54/56 Sunte Avenue has become loose again. This was last fixed in October 2018. Whenever a vehicle drives over it it makes an almighty clanking sound, loud enough to wake up the dead. Please could you fix it again? Thanks.

  • This has still not been fixed, a full 5 weeks after the problem was reported. Very disappointing by the council

  • Still broken and worse than ever now, keeping half the street awake. Utter incompetence - pull your fingers out!
