Boston's Filthiest Street

Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 13:46, Sun 29 November 2020

Sent to Boston Borough Council less than a minute later

This is a contender for Britain's filthiest street. I have been to developing countries where there is better care for the community in which residents live in. High Street/London Road is Boston's ungoverned space; unpoliced, zero enforcement, uncared for and left to mire in its own filth. Council intervention is reactive only and underlined by ambivalence and apathy to the area. Litter, street drinking, illegal parking, fly-tipping, speeding, cycling offences, drug use and urinating in public are prevalent. This is a deeply unpleasant area though which to transit. Why is this allowed to go unchecked on a daily basis?
