Blocking off driveways.

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2409907.

To whom this may concern, We would like to lodge a complaint with regards to dangerous parking in Town Street, Middleton LS10. Since the launch of the Urban Cycle Park the top end of town street is inundated with the park users, there is double parking all the way down and apart from been parked on the pathways they are parking over our driveways making it impossible to gain access to our properties. W e take our life in our own hands when entering and exiting our properties and hurled with constant abuse as we have to wait for our gates to open (electric). We should not have to contend with this every weekend.Whilst the majority of people get rid of their waste others just leave it on the roads and pathways, we have to contend with them using our garden walls as work benches again with abuse. Large groups of 8 and more are obviously flouting the covid rules also. The potential for danger in and around the afore mentioned is extremley high and we have witnessed many near misses both to people and cars which is creating an unsafe environment. We will be discussing petitions in the near future as all residents are at boiling point because of this, also if we have visitors there is no where for them to park. We do have photo evidence of how bad this is and also CCTV evidence. We hope something can be done to resolve this and as long term residents we all think this is UNJUST. and our lives are been made miserable. We look forward to a quick response and a copy of this letter has been sent to our local councillor KIM GROVES. Yours JULIE.E.MILNER
