Extinguished lamps on walkway to station from Edwin court passed Lidl’s .

Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 17:42, Sat 28 November 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2409390.

As there are several street lamps out on this stretch of walkway Especially by the delivery area of Lidl’s.I feel very vulnerable when walking from station. In fact so much so I walk the long way round down st. Mary’s road Has been problem since altered clocks.

  • This area makes me feel quite unsafe. It is dark because the lamps are out on nearly all of that stretch of walkway. Big hole appeared on footbridge near train station which if wasn’t so dark would be visible.

  • Whilst the hole in the walkway has been repaired ( of a fashion) the lighting has not been addressed. I am surprised no other regular users have reported. I have given up walking that way as I do not feel safe.
