Only roundabout on ring road with no road markings
Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 19:15, Mon 16 November 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2390938.
Everyone other roundabout on the ring road has easy to follow road markings. Some are probably drawn wrong but they are easy to follow. However there are no road markings to follow on this roundabout which means it is very nervy to drive around. Clear road markings need to be drawn to indicate what lane drivers need to be in for each outcome

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Littlemore Roundabout and the road markings. Of all the roundabouts on the Ring Road this is one of the more straightforward as it has 4 roads joining the roundabout so at each approach vehicles are either going left, straight on or around to go right. With a combination of both the signage, existing linemarking and negotiating the roundabout by following the rules / advice within the Highway Code (Rule 184) onwards this should help negotiate this junction. We will also, note this so that the condition of the existing linemarking can be assessed.
State changed to: No further action
