The speed humps in Westfield Road are deteriorating to such an extent they are becoming dangerous particularly to cyclists. There are a lot of holes in the approach ramps. The backfilled utility trenches are failing in places

  • Somerset county Highways have confirmed that the road will be resurfaced in the new financial year and humps will be reduced in height in line with the rules. This is causing residents someconcern as speeding has increased on stiby Road where the humps have been reduced in height.

  • Still waiting for the road to be rebuilt, pending review of traffic calming. In the meantime the council are patching where absolutely necessary. poor surface around the ramps abound.
